When is the next Chinese New Year Parade?
The Southwest Chinese New Year parade will be on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 5:30pm stepping off at Second and Market Street.
Where is the best place to view the parade and what time should we arrive?
The entire parade route is an excellent place to view the parade but it does get more crowded as you get closer to Chinatown. Please arrive no later than 5:00pm.
Where are the handicap seatings?
Space will be provided for 4 wheelchairs and one standing attendant per wheelchair at each of our bleacher zones.

How do I purchase bleacher seats?
For those who want to sit, we have bleacher seats available. Bleacher locations are listed above. Cost is $30.00 per ticket, (10% discount will be given on the purchase of 10 or more tickets) plus $8.00 service charge on entire order. Children under 2 are free and must be on a parent's lap.

Will the parade be cancelled if it rains?
No.
How long is the parade?
Approximately 2½ hours.
What is the best way to get to the parade?
We strongly suggest everyone take public transportation. If you are taking MUNI or BART, get off at Powell Street or Montgomery Street.
