Gung Hay Fat Choy! Happy New Year!
U.S. Bank is proud to once again sponsor the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco.
As Lunar New Year approaches, things still may look a bit different, but there is also a renewed sense of hope that family and friends can once again gather to celebrate the holiday. U.S. Bank is offering a few ways to connect safely and achieve financial goals in 2022.
“We are especially excited to be part of the 2022 Chinese New Year Parade and celebrate Lunar New Year with family and friends once again,” said Heather Kesner, San Francisco Bay market leader for consumer & business banking at U.S. Bank. “As we welcome the Year of the Tiger, U.S. Bank is fiercely committed to continuing to uplift individuals and families. We are also thrilled to re-welcome customers to our North Beach branch in San Francisco which will soon become one of our first Chinese flagship branches.”
This year, U.S. Bank has created opportunities for everyone to celebrate using exclusive animated Lunar New Year red envelope eCards, online 2022 calendars, and financial guidance products all available at https://www.usbank.com/lunarnewyear.
Here’s how the community can join U.S. Bank to celebrate the Year of the Tiger:
Red Envelopes
During Lunar New Year, it’s tradition to gift a red envelope with lucky money to friends and family. This year, we encourage people to use Zelle in the U.S. Bank mobile app to send our exclusive Lunar New Year red envelope eCards easily and efficiently to loved ones across the country. Zelle is free for U.S. Bank personal banking customers.
2022 Calendars
Continuing a long tradition of festive calendar offerings, 2022 calendars are available in several local branch locations. New this year, free downloadable Year of the Tiger calendar art and digital wallpapers for personal devices.
Financial Guidance
To help everyone to plan for a healthy and prosperous year, U.S. Bank is offering in-person and digital products to get 2022 started on the right path, including offer Cobrowse mobile and desktop services, health assessment modules, and Automated Investor tools.
Community Partnerships
In addition to celebrating with customers, U.S. Bank is continuing to partner with nonprofits that focus on supporting Asian communities through workforce advancement, housing, small business development, and COVID-19 relief.
In San Francisco, U.S. Bank supports the Chinatown Community Development Center, which provides housing counseling services to low-income tenants. The organization provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services to Asian immigrants who face multiple social and economic barriers.
