Hyundai Motor America is proud to continue its support of the Chinese New Year Festival and Parade in  San Francisco, the largest celebration of its kind in the United States and outside of Asia. For more than  three decades, Hyundai Motor America has dedicated itself to the quality, design, manufacturing, and  research of its vehicles, and we strive to provide the best products and services for our customers. For  more than a decade, we have always supported the festival and parade, as the founding and the history of San Francisco Chinatown exemplify Hyundai Motor America’s commitment to building not just cars and strong communities, but also supporting our customers on every mile of their journeys.  

The Chinatown in San Francisco is the very first Chinatown in the United States, and it is the epitome of  the resilient and pioneering spirit that all immigrants in America possess while trying to achieve a better  life. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent waves of anti-Asian discrimination in recent 

years, we have seen again and again the strong will to survive and unite against hate within the Asian American communities, especially in San Francisco Chinatown, evidenced by the vibrant, joyous  atmosphere and celebration of the Chinese New Year in February 2022 right here in the heart of San  Francisco Chinatown.  

This sense of strong human connection in the tightly knit community is part of what drives humanity  forward to a more just and prosperous future, and it is in our DNA at Hyundai: Progress for Humanity.  From the beginning, the goal of Hyundai was to make a real difference in people’s lives doing whatever  it takes to uplift people and society.
